Rowlands Surveys P/L began operations in 1981 after John Rowlands completed a 17 year association with Consulting Engineers McIntyre & Associates Pty Ltd. From a staff of six in 1981, the company has continued to expand and now employs eighteen full time staff.

Rowlands Surveys P/L has seven survey parties, equipped with 4WD vehicles and modern survey equipment including RTK GPS. The company employs qualified personnel to carry out and complete any survey task in a professional and efficient manner.

In 1986 the Townsville Office became a Sunmap Agency, which has become one of the largest agencies in North Queensland, carrying an extensive range of maps including Topographic, Tourist (both domestic and international) and 4WD / Camping Guides. We can also provide laminating services to the public.
